The following are a few verses compiled from the Quran on the topic of Nikah, which tells the importance of nikah.
Marry those among you who are single, or the virtuous ones among yourselves, male or female. if they are in poverty, Allah will give them means out of His grace. for Allah encompasseth all, and he knoweth all things. [24:32] in Quran
He said:
“I intend to wed one of these my daughters to thee, on condition that thou serve me for eight years. but if thou complete ten years, it will be (grace) from thee. But I intend not to place thee under a difficulty. thou wilt find me, indeed, if Allah wills, one of the righteous.” [28:27]
“And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves. that ye may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts). Verily in that are signs for those who reflect.)” [Al-Rum: 21]
“([And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves. that ye may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts) Verily in that are signs for those who reflect.)”[Al-Rum: 21]
“It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love).”[AI-A`raf: 189] in Quran
For Orphans:
Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable.
When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is Allah in taking account. [4:6]
If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice. [4:3] in Quran
Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness and makes His Signs clear to mankind, That they may celebrate His praise. [2:221]
