According to Islam, Marriage (Way to Nikah) is a common and legal agreement between the husband and wife in which both of them agreed on each and every condition mentioned in the nikah contract.

One can cancel the nikah contract but with severe situations as referred to in the particular Surah of the Quran, which includes Al-Talaq, Al-Baqarah, and Al-Nisa.

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,

“The Nikah is my Sunnah.”

Means nikah is our Prophet’s (SAW) sunnah. It means to perform nikah is not only the Islamic rule. but we can also see the magnificent example of our Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

If a man and a woman like one another, then the underlying condition is to perform a nikah with a mutual understanding of both. and in this result, they will live as partners for the whole life. They should be responsible for their responsibilities and obligations to each other.

The willingness of man and woman:

In the teachings of Islam, the man and woman will be asked at the time of nikah for their willingness to marriage. and if any of them disagree with the Nikah, then the Nikah is invalid. The Quran said:

“O you who believe! You are not permitted to inherit women by force.” (4:19).

The nikah should perform in front of all guests as a legal formality and it should not be performed in a secret place.

Two eye-witnesses require at the time of nikah. Nikah brings us closer to Allah.

Mehr, the way to Nikah:

According to ritual, Wali or Guardian must be present. After the completion of Nikah, the groom must have to pay Mehr to the bride at the time of marriage. Mehr can be in the form of money or property or anything that is agreed upon by both of them. It is also explained in the Quran as well.

The one who was performing Nikah must offer khutbah on nikah. All this is done after giving permission by the woman. Then Mehr should be announced in front of all guests. Then the groom has to stand and state that he accepts his bride in his nikah, after this the bride and the groom are officially husband and wife and they have the legal right to have the new start of their life with each other.

As a Muslim, we all know that there are some customary conditions as well in Islam for the nikah that apparently agreed.

The bride and groom must be at that age in which they are allowed to get married and complete sunnah.

And no demand for Jehaz as in Quran and Sunnah, fulfill all the requirements of the wife is the husband duty. and none of them is allowed to force others to avoid their family. As mentioned in the Quran,

“O Prophet, We have made permissible for you the wives whose dower you have paid.” (33:5).
