Indeed having such a mate is an important factor when desiring to avoid evil deeds. and enables the commitment of oneself in performing the obligatory acts of worship. A sincere couple, not only meet with any obstacle in achieving religious goals but a source of encouragement to each other.

Wife Duties:

A wife can turn the home into a lofty paradise or a burning hell. The wife can lead her husband to the peak of success or the dregs of misfortune. The woman with the abilities bestowed on her by Allah, who is aware of her character as a spouse. can elevate her husband to a valued man even if he had been the lowest of all men.

The main obligation and duty of the wife as a partner in a marital relationship are to contribute to the blissfulness and success of the marriage as much as they can. She must be concentrating on the comfort and well-being of her mate. She may neither upset him nor hurt his feelings. Nothing in this world can illustrate the view better than the Qur’anic statement which describes the righteous people as those who pray:

Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the joy and the comfort of our eyes. and guide us to be models of righteousness. (Qur’an, 25:74).

Qualities of Wife:

This is the basis and simple way on which all the wife’s obligation rest and from which they flow. To fulfill this obligation, the wife must be honest, trustworthy, and faithful. More specifically, she must not cheat her mate by deliberately avoiding conception lest it deprives him of legitimate progeny. Nor must she permit any other person to have access to that which is completely the husband’s right, i.e. sexual intimacy.

A corollary of this is that she must not accept or entertain strange males in her home without her husband’s knowledge and consent. Nor may she receive their gifts without his approval. This is probably meant to evade jealousy, suspicion, gossip, etc. and also to maintain the integrity of all parties concerned. The husband’s possessions are her trust. If she has access to any share thereof, or if she is entrusted with any fund. She must fulfill her duty wisely and honestly. She may not lend or dispose of any of his belongings or secret without his permission.
With respect to intimacy, the wife is to make herself desirable; to be responsive, attractive, and cooperative. A wife may not deny herself to her husband, for the Qur’an speaks of them as ease to each other. Moreover, the wife is not allowed to do anything that may render her relationship less wanted or less gratifying. If she does any such thing or neglects herself, the husband has the right to interfere with her freedom to resolve the situation. To ensure maximum self-fulfillment for both partners. he is not allowed to do anything on his part that may impede her gratification.
